  • Birkin Bag: Exclusivity, Cocktails, and Controversy

Birkin Bag: Exclusivity, Cocktails, and ControversyBirkin bags are exclusive, leading to high spending on Hermès. A cocktail served in a Birkin sparks debate. Prices range from $12,100 to $13,300, reserved for select clients.

    Birkin Bag’s High Demand

A Birkin bag, which is considered the “one of the most coveted objects of current years,” is notoriously difficult to obtain– and because of its exclusivity, individuals have a tendency to spend thousands on thousands of dollars on other Hermès items before they can also think of obtaining a Birkin.

    The Birkin Cocktail

The beverage, called “It’s Not a Bag, It’s a Cocktail,” features an alcoholic drink consisting of Lookout 10 Vodka, grapefruit oil saccharum, and Lillet Blanc with a peach garnish and side of caviar– served inside a Birkin bag.

    Authenticity Doubts

Some commenters on Lewis’ video are unconvinced that the Birkin bag given at the restaurant– a location cherished by celebrities such as Ivanka and Tiffany Trump, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sofia Vergara and Hailey Bieber– is even genuine.

That’s because while technically any person can ask a sales connect concerning the elite bag, Hermès reserves it for a restricted quantity of select customers, generally those who have a repeat purchase history with the brand name.

While Hermès doesn’t list the market prices of Birkin bags, according to Sotheby’s, the tiniest one, the Birkin 25, costs $12,100 for a Togo natural leather bag at brand name shops in the USA, while the Birkin 30 in Togo leather costs $13,300.
