Logan Jones, the former chef de cuisine at the Lark, started Tamar as a pop-up before transitioning into a permanent daytime operation for flavorful chicken shawarma tucked into warm bread with a lightly dressed cabbage salad.

Located just an hour and 40 minutes from Downtown Los Angeles by car, the city is full of quaint cafes, cocktail dens, tasting rooms, and restaurants serving casual and creative dishes using freshly caught seafood.
